New for 2026 - ADCKC/CKC – Race fee and registration will be administered by ADCKC through RAMP - Banook will provide a link and details as information becomes available.
For the safety of our program participants aged 11 and under, supervision is required when not in a coached swimming or paddling session. Our weekly Activity Camp provides full-day supervised programming, coordinated by our childcare and coaching staff, making it easy for families to enjoy a seamless day at the club.
To celebrate the soon to be completed renovation, Banook is offering Banook Members a combined paddling and activity camp program for the summer of 2026.
Members registering for Full Summer Activity Camp will receive FREE registration into the Coached Summer Paddling Program for the summer of 2026. A savings of $395.00
The program is for U8, U10 and U12 paddlers and includes.

Banook Canoe Club is a member of KidSport™ and qualifies for the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program.
KidSport™ is a national children’s program that helps kids overcome the financial barriers preventing or limiting their participation in organized sport. KidSport Nova Scotia provides funding of up to $300/year/child for sport registration and/or equipment.
Jumpstart Funds kids who want to get active. Kids who want to learn a new sport or activity. Kids who want to keep up a sport or activity they already enjoy. Kids aged 4 to 18 from families in financial need can receive funding to help with registration fees, equipment and/or transportation.
Credit card - Please be aware that when paying by credit card, the total amount charged to the credit card will include an additional 3.5% administrative fee that is paid to the payment processor. That fee is non-refundable.
