We're excited to offer our members a range of exciting programs, including:

  • Paddling programs to suit all ages and skill levels
  • Activity camps for kids to make new friends and have a blast
  • Swimming lessons to learn and improve swimming skills

Become a Member to Access Our Programs

To register for our paddling programs, activity camps, and swimming lessons, you must first complete or renew your club membership. Our membership year runs from May 1 to April 30.

Membership and programs are all being done with RAMP registration tool. A 'How-to' register with RAMP is available.

Returning Members

Simply login to your Family Account or Individual Account.

Exception: Community Activity Camps

No membership required! You can register for our weekly Community Activity Camps without being a member. See Camps and Clinics in RAMP.

Financial Assistance

Banook Canoe Club is a member of KidSport™ and qualifies for the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program.

KidSport™ is a national children’s program that helps kids overcome the financial barriers preventing or limiting their participation in organized sport. KidSport Nova Scotia provides funding of up to $300/year/child for sport registration and/or equipment.

Jumpstart Funds kids who want to get active. Kids who want to learn a new sport or activity. Kids who want to keep up a sport or activity they already enjoy. Kids aged 4 to 18 from families in financial need can receive funding to help with registration fees, equipment and/or transportation.

Payment Options

Credit card - Please be aware that when paying by credit card, the total amount charged to the credit card will include an additional 2.4% administrative fee that is paid to the payment processor. That fee is non-refundable.

If you are unable to pay by credit card, please contact the club manager to discuss alternate payment options.
